What happens if there is a power failure, will I be stranded?

Our stairlifts are battery powered and will continue to work even if you have a power outage. We have pioneered the use of DC (battery) power in stairlifts. When the stairlift was designed, it was chosen due to the inherent advantages of safety, smooth power delivery and the ability to operate normally during a power failure. A fully charged battery will complete up to 20 trips. The actual number is dependent on the length of stair, angle of staircase and the weight of the user.

If I arrange to be visited by you, will I get the hard sell to buy a stairlift?

Absolutely not! we will have one of our consultant/surveyor to visit you. They don't work for commission and are not sales people. The visit is completely free and without any obligation on your part. We will only visit, call or email you if you specifically request it. During our visit you will have the opportunity to tell us about your individual requirements in the comfort of your home.  We can then accurately measure your stairs and assess your specific needs. Once your staircase has been surveyed, you will be given your own free, fixed quote. It is then entirely your decision - in your own time - whether to buy or not. Unless you request a follow up call, you will not be bothered.

How long does it take to install a stairlift?

Installation usually takes less than three hours! Our stairlifts are fitted to the treads on the staircase, not to the wall. Before we leave we will make sure that your stairlift is tested thoroughly, demonstrate all the features - making sure you are perfectly happy and know how to use it - and of course we leave everything as clean and tidy as you had it before.
